If you receive an email claiming to come from your bank, or anyone else, requesting personal information, do not provide the details – the email could be fraudulent. Please contact your card issuer to determine whether or not the email is legitimate. Be aware that Visa never contacts cardholders directly by phone or email requesting personal information relating to your Visa card.
If you are unsure about any request - via email, text message or phone call – that appears to be from Visa Checkout, do not respond to it or click any links. Call your issuing bank by using the number on the back of your card before you provide any information. If you suspect there is fraud, forward the information to mailto:firstname.lastname@example.org.
